McMaster Children’s Hospital
McMaster Children’s Hospital (MCH) is home to the fastest-growing kids-only emergency department in Ontario, Canada’s largest neonatal intensive care unit – including supportive maternal care – and Ontario’s largest inpatient child and youth mental health unit. It offers a full range of programs and clinics with unique expertise in a number of areas including: children’s cancer, digestive diseases, orthopedics, neurosurgery and mental health.
Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre
This MCH site offers outpatient services focused on children’s developmental, behavioural and mental health as well as physical rehabilitation. It features multiple play zones, a resource library, interactive artwork, and specialized therapy space, such as fully outfitted kitchens where clients can practice life skills. Its prosthetics and orthotics program – the largest in the country –serves both children and adults across Canada.
